Upon arrival in Beijing, your private driver will meet you at the airport or railway station and transfer you to your hotel.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the area around the hotel.
Begin the day at Tiananmen Square, one of the largest public squares in the world and an important landmark in modern Chinese history.
Continue to the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Explore its magnificent halls, courtyards and historic treasures while learning about the lives of China’s emperors.
Later, visit Wangfujing, one of Beijing’s best-known commercial districts, with time to explore its shopping streets and local food scene.
Travel outside the city to the Mutianyu Great Wall, a scenic section of the Great Wall known for its restored watchtowers and beautiful mountain views.
In the afternoon, return to central Beijing and explore the city’s traditional hutong neighbourhoods. Walk through narrow lanes, observe local courtyard homes and taste a selection of Beijing-style snacks and street food.
In the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties once prayed for good harvests. The surrounding park is also a wonderful place to observe local residents practising tai chi, dancing and enjoying traditional activities.
After the visit, transfer to Beijing Railway Station and take a high-speed train to Xi’an. The journey takes approximately 4.5–6 hours, depending on the selected train service.
Upon arrival at Xi’an Railway Station, meet your private driver and transfer to the hotel.
In the morning, visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum, often described as one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century.
See thousands of life-sized terracotta soldiers, horses and chariots created to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang.
In the afternoon, travel to Huaqing Palace, located at the foot of Mount Li. This historic imperial retreat served emperors from several Chinese dynasties, including the Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui and Tang.
In the evening, walk through the illuminated Grand Tang Mall, a lively cultural district inspired by the architecture and atmosphere of the Tang Dynasty.
Begin the day at the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, one of Xi’an’s most important Buddhist landmarks and a symbol of the city’s role along the ancient Silk Road.
At lunchtime, explore the Muslim Quarter, where you can sample Xi’an specialities, traditional pastries, noodles and local street food.
Continue to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, two of the most recognisable historic landmarks in central Xi’an.
In the late afternoon, visit the Xi’an Ancient City Wall. Guests may enjoy a relaxing walk or an optional cycling experience along the wall while overlooking the old and modern parts of the city.
Start the morning at Xiaonanmen Morning Market, a popular local breakfast market where you can taste traditional Xi’an dishes and observe the everyday life of local residents.
Afterwards, enjoy some free time before transferring to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.
Upon arrival in Shanghai, meet your private driver and transfer to the hotel.

Continue to the nearby City God Temple area, where historic streets are filled with local snacks, traditional shops and Shanghai-style architecture.
In the late afternoon, take a relaxing walk along the Bund. Admire the historic buildings on one side of the Huangpu River and the modern skyline of Pudong on the other.
Take a day trip to Zhujiajiao, a historic water town located on the outskirts of Shanghai.
Explore its peaceful canals, stone bridges, riverside houses and traditional lanes. Walk through the old town, visit local shops and experience the slower rhythm of life in the Jiangnan region.
An optional boat ride can be arranged for a different view of the town’s waterways and historic architecture.
