Beginning in Kunming, the route takes you through the karst landscapes and peaceful lakes of Puzhehei, the artistic red-brick architecture of Mile, the spectacular Yuanyang Rice Terraces, the historic streets of Jianshui Ancient Town, and the crystal-clear waters of Fuxian Lake.
Along the way, enjoy a traditional boat ride, watch sunrise and sunset over the rice terraces, visit centuries-old Hani villages, experience Yi ethnic culture, ride the historic Jianshui narrow-gauge train, and taste the distinctive flavors of southern Yunnan.

Upon arrival at Kunming Changshui International Airport or a railway station, meet your driver and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel.
After breakfast, depart from Kunming and travel to Puzhehei, a scenic destination known for its lakes, wetlands and limestone peaks.
Upon arrival, walk along the lakeside boardwalk and enjoy the beautiful combination of karst mountains, rural landscapes and tranquil water.
Later, board a traditional willow-leaf boat and cruise across the lake. In the late afternoon, climb Qinglong Mountain for panoramic views and a memorable sunset.
In the evening, visit Xianrendong Village and experience the local traditions and atmosphere of the Yi ethnic community.
This morning, visit Caihuaqing Village, one of the filming locations for the popular Chinese fantasy drama Eternal Love: Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms.
Surrounded by karst peaks, wetlands and countryside, the area offers a dreamlike setting for photography. You may wear light-colored Hanfu clothing and capture photos inspired by the world of traditional Chinese fantasy.
In the afternoon, travel to Mile City and explore the Focheng Commercial District.
After dinner, take an evening walk through Honghe Water Town and sample local snacks and regional specialties.
Begin the day with a visit to Dongfengyun Scenic Area, famous for its imaginative red-brick architecture and artistic atmosphere. The distinctive buildings have led many visitors to describe the area as the “Morocco of the East.”
After lunch, continue to the Yuanyang Rice Terraces.
In the late afternoon, visit the Bada Rice Terraces, where thousands of terraced fields stretch across the mountainsides. Watch the sunset as the changing light is reflected across the water-filled terraces.
Wake up early and travel to the Duoyishu Rice Terraces to watch the sunrise.
As the morning light moves across the mountains, misty villages and layered terraces gradually appear, creating one of the most atmospheric landscapes in Yuanyang.
Continue to Azheke Village, a traditional Hani settlement known for its mushroom-shaped houses, stone paths and well-preserved ethnic culture.
Walk through the village and surrounding rice terraces while learning about the Hani people’s traditional farming system and relationship with the mountain environment.
In the late afternoon, drive to Jianshui Ancient Town.
Today, take a ride on the historic Jianshui narrow-gauge train.
The nostalgic railway journey passes through peaceful countryside, farmland and historic stations, offering a different perspective on the landscapes of southern Yunnan.
Visit Tuanshan Village to see traditional courtyard residences and historic architecture. Continue to Beishan Taozhuang to discover Jianshui’s traditional purple pottery craftsmanship.
Later, return to Jianshui Ancient Town and explore its old streets, local markets and regional cuisine.
Recommended specialties include Jianshui grilled tofu, steam-pot chicken, rice noodles and fresh grass shoots.
After breakfast, depart from Jianshui and travel to Fuxian Lake.
Enjoy a relaxing sightseeing drive around the lake, stopping at selected viewpoints to admire the clear blue water, surrounding mountains and peaceful lakeside scenery.
In the late afternoon or evening, return to Kunming, marking the end of your journey through southeastern Yunnan.
